I have been making balloon art and entertaining at parties, company functions, and schools as an independent artist since 2013. I got my start as a contracted artist at Fun Time Entertainment Fresno, and Creative Parties for Kids in Orange, CA.
I have now stepped out on my own as a Balloon Artist and designer.
In Southern California, I was a community actress, singer, and competitive public speaker. This has enabled me to be engaging and inspirational in my performances.
After surviving a car accident in 2015 and a concussion in 2016, I knew what it was like to be viewed differently by others. I paused performances to focus on creating art that generates representation for under served populations. The cartoons and designs you find on my page are the result of finding self acceptance and identity as my abilities have changed. This identity also speaks to my friends in Body Positive and LGBTQAI communities.
My passion has been in serving African American communities to increase joy and laughter for our children. I have been a balloon artist in the Fresno Kwanzaa celebrations from 2016-2019. I have also been a volunteer for the Sankofa School of Central California as the administrator of fun for 2018-2019.
Magic and fun fills my home in Fresno where I live with my wacky husband who is a magician and face painter.
I am a firm believer in radical inclusivity and work best with those who value this ideal. I understand this may not make my art or performance for everyone, and that is okay. I am here to ensure that underrepresented communities can choose to have an artist present who looks like them while they share in expression and joy.
